Part of my results from the personality test were talking about how I honestly enjoy getting to know people. I love finding out people's likes and dislikes, I love hearing their opinions on all sorts of topics. I love deep, meaningful, chaotic conversations.


After reading this I had an epiphany.!!!....so that's why guys think I like them, because I'm so interested in their lives. Eh...so that's why I sometimes find myself running into the bathroom in Thompson to avoid guys trying to be all creepy towards me. Oh...so maybe they're not being creepy after all...maybe their just responding to what they perceive as me advancing towards them?
So many times people talk about how girls get so easily lead on, which is so true. Girls, just admit it. But boys get lead on too, they usually just don't show how much it effects them. As females, we have to be beyond careful how we walk, what we say, how we dress, the amount of eye-contact we make, etc. I know that it seems like we have to do a lot of work to not lead guys on, and honestly there isn't a very easy way to go about doing so. Don't ever, EVER use the excuse "I'm just a flirt. That's just my personality". That is the most over-used example of someone not being responsible for their actions. Honestly, you need to take care of that problem and yes, it IS a problem. And if you think about it guys, good guys, are trying to be just as careful to not twist anything into anything in their heads.

So. I will have to make it a point to be careful who's lives I become interested in because I'd much rather have a surface level relationship with a boy then to potentially hurt them and our friendship.
Be careful how you use your personality.

When God leaves you in Home Depot

Hello world wide web, bloggers, friends, and romans. Oh how I have missed blogging and releasing my inner thoughts and heart. With the help of the cold weather, a heavy heart, and a pumpkin spice latte ( plus free wi-fi) I come to you again. When I was a kid I used to love this time of year because I would help my parents do the fall yard work and go to Home Depot to buy plants and goodies. I remember one time in particular that I was with them at Home Depot walking through the aisles and we passed the paint mixing section. This is a really cool place because you get to see all the paints mixed and poured and it's beautiful to see what the result is. Well as a child I was easily entertained watching things so I got so mesmerized and just stood there for a million minutes ( in kid time ) and watched.
